By the end of November 2020 the best of the snow was to be found in the Heart of the San Juan Mountains at Molas Lake, Situated at 10,700ft Molas Lake provides a challenging landscape with a multitude os short hills and valleys that are an exciting dog sledding experience, also the backdrop is gorgeous.

Late in the day in mid December of 2020 we found ourslelves above Mancos Colorado racing though the new high alpine snows of the western La Plata mountains.
